How does r11 face angle work

Nut - for players who hit the ball straight of the tee. To me it's just a lightweight aluminum cap with a screw, it's not weight balanced in any particular direction and the club sits up the same whatever position it's set,. Picture this: And this:. Similar to the original R11, the new R11S features a flat-white crown colour and black PVD face to improve alignment and accuracy off the tee. The head boasts a contemporary, slightly more triangular appearance than traditionally shaped drivers that provides higher MOI and a deeper, farther-back CG position. ASP technology was a major performance breakthrough as it complimented Flight Control, a technology first introduced in the R9 family.

When FCT is employed alone, the loft and face angle is coupled by the sleeve system. Re: R11 Driver Sole plate Reading this thread has given me a clue why I did not understand what difference the sole plate makes. I have an R11 and ried closing the face with the sole plate with no noticeable effect Went back to neutral sole plate and all seems to be going OK. Have a lesson tomorrow on driving so will be interested to get my pro's view.

When I set it to closed on the range I do indeed hit a different shape, you must ground the club though. I dont understand why anyone would grip a club hovering, makes no sense. I have messed with adjusting it some, but mainly played it standard cause I have been hitting it well, but I want to take my 3 wood from Have many of you guys lowered the loft and what were ur results like?

For some, the closed face will actually draw the ball. Best option is to do it, mess around with it for a week or so, and see how it works for you. It's easily undone!

Thanks Ice. I need to mess with it more, but with baseball season here finding time is tough and when I do I spend the whole round trying to get the rust off.
