You simply go to the Facebook website and log in using your Facebook account. After you have successfully logged in, go to settings and select the Personal Information menu. Then edit your Facebook account name and type in the name you want. If you have already specified a name, click the Review Changes button. Your Facebook account will then change your name followed by the username.

The Facebook application is available on both Android and iOS devices. So, you can use this method for any smartphone device. Just search for the Facebook application via the Playstore or Appstore. After you have installed the application, open the application and log in using your Facebook account. Tap the three slashes which are in the top corner. Scroll down and select Settings and Privacy then select Settings.
